Like most artists, I've been
painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. I've always loved
colour and expression in my work as I try to capture things and places around me
that I love. I'm always influenced by the landscape, colour
and weather conditions wherever I go and my pictures also come from looking and
keeping sketchbooks when travelling.
My art
education was at Leicester and Liverpool
School
of Fine Art. I have exhibited locally in Leicester and Kettering. Since moving
to Church Langton, I have become a member of the Barton Hall Studios and the
Harborough Arts Cluster Group and participate in the annual Open Studios and
Artist Studio Trails. I have been involved in two Big Draw events and
recently organised the Bi-Annual St Peters' Art Exhibition in Church Langton. I have work in private collections
in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Mallorca and Badajoz, Spain.
